Marie-Christine Lemerise elected President of the Diet Dispensary

Montreal (Quebec), June 11, 2015 – Following the Annual General Meeting of the Montreal Diet Dispensary, held in Montreal, June 10, 2015, Ms. Marie-Christine Lemerise was elected President of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Diet Dispensary. A lawyer for more than 15 years, first within a prominent Montreal firm and now self-employed, she practices in the area of business law and corporate affairs, acting for various small and medium-size enterprises. In addition, she lectures at the law faculty of Université de Montréal were she teaches business law.

“It is with great pleasure that I accept this nomination and look forward to continuing, accompanied by a talented and devoted team, the work of my predecessor, Ms. Dominique Lapierre, to support the worthy cause of the Dispensary which gives, to more than 1,200 babies, a good start in life, and to their mothers the necessary skills to raise healthy children.”

Ms. Lemerise holds a bachelor’s degree as well as a Master’s degree in law from Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1999.
