The 135th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Dispensary took place on Wednesday June 10 at 6 pm in a meeting room of the BMO Bank of Montreal kindly put at our disposal for this occasion.
At this meeting, Ms. Dominique Lapierre, after 14 years of devotion to the Board of Directors, of which the last three were as President, passed the torch to Ms. Marie-Christine Lemerise, lawyer and administrator on the Board for the last two years. Ms. Patricia Fourcand was elected as an administrator, filling the seat vacated by the retiring President.
Of interest to note, this AGM was the first for Jackie Demers, the new Executive Director, who was pleased to present the action plan and highlight the immense amount of work accomplished by the Dispensary team and volunteers in the past year, during a period of significant transition after the retirement of Marie-Paule Duquette who headed the Dispensary for 33 years.
