The Dispensary held its 138th Annual General Assembly meeting with members of its corporation yesterday, on June 19th 2018, under the theme A fully evolving organization, turned towards the future!
Surrounded by the Board of Administrators, members of the corporation, a large part of the Dispensary staff, and in the presence of representatives from partner organizations, Jean-Marc Demers, president of the Board, and Jackie Demers, executive director, drew up a positive assessment of the 2017-2018 year. 867 women were followed throughout the year, 5836 individual and group consultations were given, and the development of external services was initiated. Various projects and committees took form during the year. Among these committees, one will notably be devoted to the production of the organization’s Social Nutrition Practice Guide and another one will help define the organization’s 2018-2020 strategic plan. The exceptional results achieved in financing and communications were also presented.

As for the election of the Board of Directors for the 2018-2019 period, all candidates were elected by acclamation. Jean-Marc Demers will be entering his second term as President of the Board of Directors of the Dispensary.

To close the meeting, Board members recognized the work and contribution of Emmy Maten-Fellows, P.Dt., IBCLC, who will be retiring after 40 years of loyal service to mothers, children and families of the Dispensary.
